About Srinagar

Srinagar is the largest city in the Kashmir Valley and one of the most important cultural and tourist centres of Jammu and Kashmir. The city is famous for its lakes, gardens, houseboats, traditional markets and historic neighbourhoods.

Srinagar is more than just Dal Lake. The city combines Mughal-era gardens, centuries-old shrines, traditional wooden architecture, local markets, riverside areas and beautiful mountain viewpoints.
